William George Popp

William George Popp, age 65 of Paintsville, KY, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 in the Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville, KY. he was born May 6, 1956 in Stuttgart, Germany a son of the late Raymond George and Betty Cochran Popp. William lived in Prestonsburg prior to going into Mountain Manor.

He is survived by two sisters: Margaret “Peggy” (Pat) Popp-Murphy, Weehawken, NJ and Suzanne( Peter) Thompson, Princeton, NJ., two nephews, Matthew (Christina Reeg) Goida, Franklin Park, NJ, John (Tara Casazza) Murphy, Hoboken, NJ, one niece; Barbara (Bob) Paterson, Kingston, RI, and one great nephew; Christopher Paterson.

Funeral service for William George Popp will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY, with David Evans officiating .Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will follow Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Berkshire Cemetery, Sunbury, OH.
