Obituary
William "Bill" Preston Patton, age 79, of Langley, KY, died Sunday, September 18, 2022 in the Hazard ARH Hospital, Hazard, KY. He was born May 03, 1943 in Langley, KY a son of the late Talmadge and Bessie Lafferty Patton. William was a retired school teacher and a member of the Maytown Methodist Church.
He is survived by one brother; Ralph Patton, Langley, KY, two sisters; Anna Mae Gearheart, Shelby, OH, Edith Green, Hueysville, KY.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers; Russell, Garland, Charles, Paul Patton, and three sisters; Ruth Slone, Nova Wallen, Faye Caudill.
Funeral service for William "Bill" Preston Patton will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin with David Heintzelman officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Family Cemetery, Langley. Visitation is after 6 PM Monday and all day Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
