William Carroll Gallagher

    William C. Gallagher, age 84, of Stanford, KY  husband of  Betty Jo Johnson Gallagher, died Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his residence.

He was born February 5, 1940 in Cribbs, WV a son of the late Rev. John Quincy and Martha Franklin Gallagher. William was a US Army veteran and a retired electrician from Detroit Diesel.

    He is survived by one son, William Karl Gallagher, Garden City, MI, one daughter; Susan (Chris) Skaggs, MI, four sisters; Lelia Bohanna, TN, Mary Stacey, NC, Linda Hollingsworth, DE, Cheryl Gallagher Tribbett, Gaithersburg, MD,  four grandchildren; Karl (Nicole) and Amanda (Brian), Kayla and Charlie and three great grandchild; Brynlee Davian, Ava.

    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death two brothers, Clarence and Bob Gallagher.

    Funeral service for William C. Gallagher will be conducted Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Eternal Love Cemetery, Kite, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Saturday and Sunday at Hall Funeral Home.
