Walter Clyde Dingus Jr.

            Walter Clyde Dingus Jr. age 83, of Martin, KY, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Highlands Appalachian Regional Hospital, Prestonsburg, KY. He was born March 29, 1939 in Martin, KY,  a son of the late Walter Clyde and Winnie Calton Dingus.

            He is survived by one son: Walter Clyde Dingus III, OH; three brothers: Charles Dingus, Wilton Dingus both of Martin, KY, Tom Dingus, Clintwood, VA; two sisters: Lenora Mae Swetnam, Tuscaloosa, AL, Dollie Wray Dingus, Danville, IL; one granddaughter: Johna Sanders, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

            In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters: Donna and DARonda Dingus; two brothers: Chad Marion and Mark Hannah Dingus and two sisters: Doris Evelyn Dingus and Marlene Elizabeth Sword.

            A graveside service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in  the Lower P M Dingus Cemetery, Martin, KY with Bill Slone officiating.
