Walker Kidd Obituary

Walker Kidd, age 85, of Prestonsburg, KY husband of Mary Alice Lawson Kidd, died Saturday, April 11, 2020 in the Highlands ARH hospital, Prestonsburg, KY. He was born April 5, 1935 in Honaker, KY a son of the late Bill and Minta Kidd. Walker was a retired carpenter and coal miner.

He is survived by his wife, two sons: Brax Kidd, David, KY, Mark Kidd, Texas, four daughters; Rosa Lynn Kidd, Christie Hackworth, Cathy Ann Tackett, Judy Ann Rowan, four brothers; Ed Kidd, Alvie Kidd, Don Kidd, Earl Kidd, four sisters; Tennessee Kidd, Edna Wooton, Geraldine Isaac, Phoebe Case and many grand and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: James Kidd, one brother; Walter Kidd, two sisters; Emmalene Ross and Merldene Rossi.

A private family graveside service is scheduled on Wednesday with burial to follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY.
