Van D. Patton

Van D. Patton, age 78, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Floyd County, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Kenwood Health and Rehab Center, Richmond, KY.  He was born July 6, 1943 in Lackey, KY, a son of the late Ray and Faye Harden Patton.  He was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by one son; Steve (Missy) Patton, Richmond, KY, one daughter; Amy Nicole Cunningham, Estill, KY, one brother; Darrell (Jayne) Patton, Prestonsburg, KY, two grandchildren; Courtney (Trenton) Combs and Timothy "Bo" Cunningham, a host of nieces, nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Aaron Joseph Patton, two sisters; Betty Lou Mann and Alma Plummer.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Patton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Drift Cemetery, Drift, KY, visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
