Thomas Lee Jones

Thomas Lee Jones, age 88, of Langley, KY, husband of Julia Fern Pratt Jones, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  He was born August 19, 1933 in Maytown, KY, a son of the late Wiley Jefferson and Noleeka Manning Jones.  He was of the Methodist faith and a retired maintenance supervisor for KY Hydrocarbon.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter; Belinda Jones Halbert, Maytown, KY, eight grandchildren; Brian Thomas (Kelly) Jones, Andrea Leigh (Dwight) McKinney, William Jefferson (Kari) Jones, Jonathan Alan (Kristen) Jones, Makala Renea Jones, Christopher Lee (Brittany Biliter) Halbert, Greta Michelle (Rick O'Bryan) Jenkins and Jeffrey Kyle Halbert, eight great grandchildren; Jeffrey Douglas Lee "JD" McKinney, Thomas Lee Jones II, Delia May Jones, Cashton Avery McKinney, Shelby Lynn McKinney, Jonna Beth Jones, Grant Jenkins and Marlee Jenkins, one daughter-in-law: Maggie Annette Jones, one step son; Todd (Carla) Howard, daughter-at-heart; Vylinda Howard, three step grandchildren; Lucas, Eliza and Callie Howard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; Gloria May Flanery Jones, son; Thomas Jeffrey "Jeff" Jones, daughter-in-law; Sharon Lynn Jones and one brother; Wiley Wendell Jones.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Varney officiating.  Burial will follow in the Flanery Family Cemetery, Warco, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
