Thomas James Johnson

Thomas James Johnson, age 64, of Kite, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Kite, KY. He was born April 1, 1961 in Martin, KY, a son of the late John and Georgene Hall Johnson. He was retired law enforcement, a member of the DAV and he was a United States Marine.

He is survived by his nephews; Johnathan Jackman, Chris Jackman, Terry Michael Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Brandon Johnson, three nieces; Heather Carmichael, Brittany Johnson and Olivia McElory, two aunts; Geronda Hall and Coleen Duncil, 10 great nieces and nephews, 9 special first cousins, also a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers; John Patrick, Timothy Dean and Terry Michael Johnson, one sister; Sherry Lynn Pacheo Meadors, two nephews; Kevin Johnson and Josh Slone, one great nephew; Michael Scott Johnson.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church, Kite, KY, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery, Kite, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home and after 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
