Tex R. Mitchell

Tex R. Mitchell, age 79, of Harold, KY, husband of Mona Kay Mitchell, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 surrounded by family.  He was born April 3, 1942 in Grethel, KY, a son of the late Cline and Georgia Hamilton Mitchell.

Tex is survived by his wife, Mona Mitchell, daughters; Paulette (Brain) Stapleton and Leslie (Jason) Hall, grandchildren; Courtney (Jordan) Friend, Savannah (Cody) Blevins, Conner Hall, Allie Stapleton and Seth Hall, great-grandchildren; Luke Friend, Logan Friend and Ripley Blevins, sister Connie Lancaster and fishing buddy; Ruth Lafferty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Lowell, Rex and Larry "Dump" Mitchell.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
