Terry Samons

Terry Samons, age 76, of Martin, KY, husband of the late Becky Samons, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 in Minnie, KY.  He was born August 28, 1948 in Arkansas Creek, Martin, KY, a son of the late John “J.B” and Marie Jones Samons.  Terry was a US Army Veteran and retired as an X-Ray Tech at Potter Medical Clinic.

He is survived by his three sons; John Patrick Samons, Martin, KY, Nick (Janie) Samons, Banner, KY and Jared Ross (Caitlin) Samons, Tampa, FL, three sisters; Linda (Walter) Bartrum, Martin, KY, Donna Gail (John) Bartrum, Eastern, KY and Melissa Ann (Matt) Martin, Martin, KY, four grandchildren; Jenna Marie, Maddox Ross, Iyla Kingsley and Maverick Jared, along with his special friend Linda Shannon.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his daughter; Tera Marie Samons and brother; Jeffery Samons.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Entombment will follow at the Blueberry Hill Cemetery, Arkansas Creek, Martin, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
