Sue Spradlin

Sue Spradlin, age 89, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Roger A. Spradlin, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Willows at Hamburg, Lexington, KY.  She was born October 29, 1930 in Johnson County, KY. A daughter of the late Roy and Irene Conley Colvin, Helen was a former clerk at Francis Clothing Store and a member of the Community United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Greg (Terry) Spradlin, Covington, KY, one daughter; Pam (John Paul) Leslie, Lexington, KY, one brother; Danny (Betty) Colvin, Paintsville, KY, two sisters; Betty McFaddin, Ewing, KY, Bonnie Davis, Wortland, KY, three grandchildren; Amanda (Kenny) Thomas, Allison (Royce) Bailey, Zachary (Brigid Quinn) Spradlin, four great grandchildren; Avery and Elin Thomas, Meredith and Norah Bailey.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Colvin, and one sister Ruby Tucker.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Andrew Donner officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is from 12 p.m. the time of service.
