Sue (Simpkins) Clark

            Ida Sue Clark, age 83, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Russell Clark, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born August 3, 1937 in Williamson, WV, a daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt & Doris Marie Kirk Simpkins. She was a member of the Faith Independent Freewill Baptist Church.

            She is survived by one son: Steven Bradley (Donna P.) Clark, Greensboro, NC and one daughter in law: Karen Clark.

            In addition to her husband and parents, Ida Sue was preceded in death by one son: Jeffery Calvin Clark; one brother: Thomas Allen Simpkins and one sister: Etta Louise Hogsdon.

            A private family service will be conducted Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY.
