Stephen Gazay Jenkins

Stephen Gazay Jenkins, age 72, of Martin, KY, husband of Mary Florence Mullins Jenkins, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his residence.  He was born November 15, 1950 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Thomas Anthony and Mary Roberts Jenkins.  He was a member of the Garrett First Baptist Church and was employed with Quality Natural Gas, LLC., an affiliate of Kinzer Drilling for 38 years.

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by one son; Thomas Mayo Jenkins, Martin, KY, one daughter; Misty Jenkins (Larry) Begley, Russellville, KY, one sister; Virginia Twiss, Catlettsburg, KY, four grandchildren; Madison Don Turner, Allison Ryan Turner, Grant Thomas Jenkins and Marlee Grace Jenkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Phillip Mayo Jenkins.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Cracker Bottom, Martin, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with service at 6 p.m., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
