Sonja Lea (Hall) Tackett

Sonja Lea Tackett, age 74, of Hi Hat, KY, widow of Arthur Tackett Jr., passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her residence.  She was born January 16, 1947 in Wheelwright, KY, a daughter of the late Sylvester Hall and Veda Ann Hall Blankenship.  She was a member of the Hi Hat Church of God of Prophecy, the Hi Hat Community Club and was retired from the State of KY, as a principal secretary in the Child Support Enforcement Division.

She is survived by her son; Kenneth Ray Tackett and daughter; Tammy Renee Tackett both of Hi Hat, KY, one sister; Priscilla (Don) Fraley, Hi Hat, KY two grandsons; Jordan and Jacob Tackett, three great grandchildren; Emma, Adrianna and Zane Tackett.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Celebration of Life service will be conducted Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hi Hat Church of God of Prophecy, with Don Fraley officiating.  Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
