Shirley Ann (Bost) Ousley

Shirley Ann Bost Ousley, age 90, a resident of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Claiborne Medical Center.

She was born March 24, 1936 in Athens, Alabama to the late Herman and Eva Greenhaw Bost.

Shirley was a member at Trinity Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending very much. She was an avid shopper. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved her baby Hubert and their dog.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Sonny Bost, Benny Bost, Martha Whitson and Billie Jarrell.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 35 years Hubert Ousley of Harrogate, TN, children Randy Wells and wife Dixie of Falmouth, KY, Charlotte Heinze and husband Johnny of Prestonsburg, KY, Cindy Wells of Allen, KY, Jeff Wells and wife Donna of Flat Gap, KY, step-children Darbin Ousley and wife Trena of Trenton, TN and James Ousley and wife Penny of Reeves, MI, 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Medley officiating.

Graveside Services will be held at the Gethsemane Gardens in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
