Sherry Lynn (Johnson) Pacheco

Sherry Lynn Pacheco, age 67, of Kite, KY, wife of John Anthony Meadors, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  She was born April 16, 1956 in Lackey, KY, the daughter of the late Johnny and Georgene Hall Johnson.  She attended the Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church and a former nursing home aide.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; Johnathan Jackman, Kite, KY, Christopher Jackman, Disney, OK, one brother; Thomas James (Christie Cox) Johnson, Kite, KY, one step son; John Steven Meadors, one step daughter; Karen McCain, three grandchildren; Lexie, Sadie and Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; John Patrick, Timothy Dean and Terry Michael Johnson.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rebecca Old Regular Baptist Church, Kite, KY, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Hall Cemetery, Kite, visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
