Shelby Jean (Terry) Blevins

Shelby Jean Blevins, age 81, of Langley, KY, widow Kedrick Milford Blevins, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at her residence.  She was born August 26, 1941 in Langley, KY, a daughter of the late Shelly and Isabella Hayes Terry.  She was a retired business woman and retired from the Floyd County School System.

She is survived by one daughter; Bernadette (Garner) Halbert of Langley, , three sons, Christopher Blevins, Stephen Blevins and Kelvin (Freda) Blevins all of Langley, one sister; Elaine (Keith) Hayes of Langley, eight grandchildren; Jarrad Hagans, Christina Moore, Kimbo Burke, Brittany Wright, Kelsey Riley, Cameron Blevins, Hailey Blevins and Linsey Blevins, four great grandchildren; Jaycee, Hayze, Harlyn, Addison and one sister-in-law; Mary Compton Terry. 

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her step mother; Tava Salisbury Terry, two brothers; Clinton and Quinton Terry, two sisters; Peggy Burchett and Elda Crisp.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow in the Blevins Family Cemetery, Wilson Creek, Langley, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
