Sharon Rae Thacker

     Sharon Rae Thacker, age 78, of Allen, KY, widow of Henry Hamilton, died Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her residence. She was born March 26, 1946 in Pikeville, KY a daughter of the late Goffery and Rosetta Scott Davis. Sharon was a homemaker.

    Survivors include five sons,  Lawrence (Laura Carder) Brewer III, Indianapolis, IN, Doug (Jessica) Brewer, LaPorte, IN, Jackie W (Kim Dillon) Brewer, Pikeville, KY, Daniel (Iva) Brewer, and  Allen (Patty) Brewer, all of LaPorte, IN, two daughters; Patty (Denzil) McKinney, Teaberry, KY,  Helen (Brian) Conn, Allen, KY, one brother; Gordon White, Ashland, KY, special niece, Vivian Maynard, OH, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and fur baby, Bella Boo.

    In addition to her husband and parents she preceded in death by one son, Paul Edward Brewer, two brothers; Sonny and Patton White, three sisters; Graffie Holloway, Gaye Wilburn, Helen Jean Maynard. one great grandson; Anthony Taylor Chance Tackett, and one great granddaughter, Sophia
Epperson.

   Funeral service for Sharon Rae Thacker will be conducted Tuesday, September 10. 2024 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. Visitation is from 6 until 10 PM Sunday, and from 10 AM until 10 PM Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
