Sharon Kay (Chaffins) Kidd

Sharon Kay Chaffins Kidd, age 57, of Garrett, KY, wife of Scott Kidd, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born March 13, 1966 in Martin, KY, a daughter of Linda Vera Mullins Chaffins, Garrett, KY and the late David Ralph Chaffins.  She was a member of the Rock Fork Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three sons; Robert Anthony Burchfield, Lee County, KY, David Joseph (Donna) Burchfield, Hager Hill, KY and Tyler Dwayne (Kayla) Burchfield, Prestonsburg, KY, one brother; Larry David Chaffins, Garrett, KY, one sister; Teresa (Shannon) Shepherd, Prestonsburg, KY, five grandchildren; Walker Burchfield, Ava Burchfield, Landon Burchett, Annaleigh Burchett and Zachary Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow on the Chaffins Cemetery, Rock Fork, Garrett, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
