Sarah Hall Tackett

Sarah Hall Tackett, age 82, of Stambaugh, KY, widow Kenis Tackett, died Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Norton Audobon Hospital, Louisville, KY. She was born August 11, 1940 in Grethel, KY a daughter of the late Elisha and Jeanette Belvins Hall. Sarah was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

     She is survived by two brothers, Vernon and Randall Dean Hall, both of FL, two sisters; Pearl Hall Napier, Louisville, Patsy Hanly, MI, one grandson, Brandon (Christina) Tackett, Louisville, a special daughter; Debra Thompson, Pikeville, KY and two great grandchildren; McKenna and Cameron Tackett.

      In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Rex and Terry Tackett, one daughter; Emma Lou Allen; three brothers; Dennis Ray, Fed, and  Arnold Hall, and one sister; Brenda Akers.

      Funeral service for Sarah Hall Tackett will be conducted Friday, March 25, 2023 at 2 PM in the Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Harold, KY, with Rocky Hamilton and the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery, Grethel, KY with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is after 6 PM Wednesday, March 22 at the Pilgrims Home Old Regular Baptist Church, Harold, and after 10 AM Thursday at the church.
