Sandy (Clapp) Hunter

Sandy Hunter, age 72, of Hager Hill, KY, wife of Greg Hunter, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Paul B. Hall ARH, Paintsville, KY. She was born July 21, 1951 in Norwalk, OH, a daughter of the late Donald and Kathleen Dillon Clapp. She was a member of the New Jerusalem Worship Temple and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Greg, she is survived by one son; Gregory Lynn Hunter, Jr., West Van Lear, KY and one daughter; Barbara Ann Hunter, Prestonsburg, KY, two grandchildren; Gregory Tyler Hunter and Alexandra (Travis) Caudill, two great grandchildren; Elouise and Winona Caudill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; John Clapp, two sisters; Judy Williams and Peggy Williams.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Nick O'Brian officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunter Family Cemetery, Honaker, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
