Sally (Davis) Adkins

Sally Davis Adkins, age 72, of Eastern, Ky, wife of Adam Adkins, passed away on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at the Baptist Health facility in Lexington, Ky. She was born August 25th, 1946, a daughter of the late Edgel and Nannie Patton Davis. She was a retired business owner.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Shirley Renee (David) Smith, Hippo, Ky, one brother; Carmel Davis, Hippo, KY, two sisters: June Salyers, Ashland, Ky and Sandy Manns, Hueysville, Ky and two grandchildren; Sydney (Casey) Camargo and David Brodey Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son; Heath Adam Adkins, three brothers; Edgel Delano Davis, Johnny "Pickle" Davis and Elmo "Trigger" Davis, and two sisters; Thelma Osborne and Brenda Centers.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 22nd at 11:00 am with Chester Varney officiating. Entombment will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens in Ivel, Ky. Visitation will be from 6pm until 10 pm on Monday and all day Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
