Roger Lee Shepherd

Roger Lee Shepherd, age 72, of Printer, KY, husband of the late Betty Lou Bray Shepherd, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his residence.  He was born September 30, 1945 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Woots and Anna Mae Scarberry Shepherd.  He was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by one son; Ricky (Martina) Shepherd, Prestonsburg, KY, three daughters; Loretta (Keith) Thacker, and Fayetta (Richard) Hall, all of Dana, KY and Dorothy Ann (David) McKinney, Hawesville, KY, three brothers; Steve Shepherd, Printer, KY, Michael Shepherd, Drift, KY and Larry Shepherd, McDowell, KY, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one son; Woots Lee Shepherd, two daughters; Tonda Sue Hall and Anna Elizabeth Shepherd, seven brothers; Earnest, Hershell, Acie, Jack, Clyde, Woodrow and Jobie Shepherd, two sisters; Barbara Wright and Susan Slone and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Tackett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shepherd Family Cemetery, Printer, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
