Rob Evans

Rob Evans, age 72, of Grethel, KY, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born February 26, 1951 in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late Ed and Martha White Evans.  He was a retired mechanic and auto body repairman.

He is survived by four children; Teresa Renee Evans Little. Harold, KY, Jason (Dedra) Newsome, Teaberry, KY, Jasmine (Jeremy) Adkins, Grethel, KY and Mollie Evans, Grethel, KY, two brothers; Demas Evans, Dayton, OH and Delmar "Dank" Evans, Grethel, KY, three sisters; Vernonia Moore, Grethel, KY, Rothie Hall, Harold, KY and Polly Tackett, Georgetown, KY, four grandchildren; Zackary (Carly) Hall, Lyndsey Little, Madison Newsome and Addi Lee Newsome, two great grandchildren; Kinzleigh and Zayla Hall.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Freeman Evans and one sister; Vernice Hall.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Harvey Tuttle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery, Akers Br., Grethel, KY, visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Saturday and until 10 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
