Obituary
Retha Bailey shepherd, age 71 of Hueysville, KY, wife of Earl Shepherd, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1951 in Lackey, KY a daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Crager Bailey. She was a retired bank manager and a member of the Martin Church of Christ.
Along with her husband, Retha is survived by two daughters: Tonya (Brandon) Hatfield and Misty (John) Conley both of Hueysville, KY; one brother: Norman (Ruby) Bailey, Hueysville, KY; one sister: Lita Kay Hamilton, Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren: Anthony Tyler Tackett, Layton Douglas Terry, Reagan Alexis Crase, Trenton Dawson Hatfield, Daniel Lee Tackett, Jerri Lynn Hatfield and Carley Brooke Hatfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Gary Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Dan Shepherd Cemetery, Gunlock, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home.
