Raquel (Keathley) Newsome

Raquel Newsome, age 57, of Harold, KY wife of Dwight Newsome, died Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 29, 1968 in Pikeville, KY a daughter of the late Garland and Nancy Gail Adams Keathley. Raquel was an Engineer for CSX railroad.

She is survived by one son; Bryce Adkins, Harold, KY, one daughter; Kaitlin Lawson, Grethel, KY, two brothers; DeWayne (Stephanie) Keathley and Brock (Becky) Keathley, all of Harold, KY, four sisters; Cassandra (Ronnie) Akers, Harold, KY, Yolanda Hott, Betsy Layne, KY, Tomeca Tackett, Pikeville, KY and Heather Keathley, Harold, KY, one granddaughter; Londyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Meade officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Harold, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
