Ralph Slone

Ralph Slone, age 81, of Banner, KY, husband Ruth Conn Slone, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  He was born July 17, 1942 in David, KY, a son of the late James "Jim" and Sadie Shepherd Slone.  He was a member of the Boldman Freewill Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran and retired from KY-WV Gas Company.

In addition to his wife; Ruth, he is survived by two daughters; Janet Renea (Mike) Crum, Banner, KY and Lisa Gail (Johnny) Sizemore, Prestonsburg, KY, four brothers; Graydon (Barb) Slone, and Gold (Betty) Slone all of Prestonsburg, KY, Ballard Slone, Royalton, KY and Ottis Slone, Blue River, KY, two sisters; Ora Lee Little, Blue River, KY and Nolene (Zelmer) Younce, Stambaugh, KY, six grandchildren; Chastity Craddock, Blake Sizemore, Kara Potter, Kyle Greer, Kourtney Howell and Kennedy Greer, six great grandchildren; Layne, Easton, Jimma, Gatlin, Lakelynn and Hazel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Scottie Slone, two brothers; Levi and Clark Slone.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Boyd officiating.  Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery, Dana, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
