Ralph Gordon O'Quinn

Ralph Gordon O’Quinn, age 83 of Garrett, KY,  husband of Caralita Watson O’Quinn, died November 5, 2023. He was born June 23, 1940 to Lacey and Margaret O’Quinn, along with a twin brother, Charles Orbin. Ralph was a longtime educator in the Right Beaver area, having served as a teacher and principal. After his retirement from the Floyd County School System, Ralph owned several small businesses. He was a member of the Hueysville Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Ephraim Neil O’Quinn; three brothers, Charles (Gloria) O’Quinn, Lacey Jr. (MaryLou) O’Quinn and Danny (Billie) O’Quinn; five sisters, Brenda (Bill) Stricklin), Rose (Martin) Miller, Joyce (Stanton) Watson, Sharon (Rodney) Handshoe and Tammy (Blake) Farmer; several cherished nieces and nephews; and longtime family friend Michael Hall.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Connie Sue.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 7th from 12 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 8th at Hueysville Church of Christ at noon with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
