Ralph Howard Coleman

Ralph Howard Coleman, age 76, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born October 8, 1949 in McVeigh, KY, a son of the late John W. and Cora Lee May Coleman.  He was a member of the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church and a retired coal miner.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Cora Coleman and one sister Barbara Coleman Burnett.

He is survived by his son Mark Anthony Coleman and his wife Missy, five grandchildren: Lakan, Marlee, Alexis, Trista and McKenzie and five great grandchildren.  He also survived by six brothers Donald Coleman of Kimper, John William Coleman (Jacquline), of Kimper, Reaford Coleman (Beverly), Keith Coleman(Toni) of Prestonsburg, Ky, Raymond Gene Coleman (Elaine) of Kimper, Herman Coleman of Betsy Layne Ky. and five sisters Lavonne Taylor of Ivel, Ky, Dorothy Hayes(Orris) of Betsy Layne, Ky, Charlene Hamilton(Gary) of Harold, Ky, Judy Layne of Somerset, Ky and Phyllis Coleman(Candy) of Betsy Layne, Ky.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church, Betsy Layne, KY, with Barry Clark officiating.  Burial will in the Gannon Cemetery, Kimper, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the church, with services each evening at 7 p.m.  Arrangements under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
