Phyllistine Hall Keathley

Phyllistine Hall Keathely, age 92, of Harold, KY, widow of Joe Ross Keathley, died Monday, December 23, 2024 in the Highlands ARH Hospital, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born September 9, 1932 in Betsy Layne, KY a daughter of the late Walker and Nannie Stumbo Hall. Phyllistine was a former Co-Owner of Phyllis Coal Company, and a former employee of Happy Mart/ Double Kwik.

    She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Rita (Gary) Keathley Akers, Union, KY, Michelle (Tim) Champlin-Harper, Maitland, FL, four grandhcildren; Ashley Akers, Candice Champlin, Chase Champlin, Casey Keathley Michalovic, and three great grandchildren; Acelyn Akers Simpson, Silas and Madeline Michalovic.

   In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son, Neil Tyrone Keathley, one brother; Eugene Hall,  four sisters; Yucca Hall, Emogene Hall, Gerry Fulton and Helen Martin.

  Funeral service will be conducted Friday, December 27, 2024 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Kevin Jett officiating. Burial will follow in the Keathley Cemetery, Harold, KY. Visitation is 12 Noon until 1 PM Friday, December 27, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home
