Phyllis Jean (Boggs) Dingus

Phyllis Jean Dingus, age 89, of Martin, KY, wife of LeMayne Dingus, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born in Betsy Layne, KY, a daughter of the late Edgar and Louella Music Boggs. She was a member of the Little Paint Church of God. She was a Registered Nurse at Our Lady of the Way Hospital, Martin, KY for 43 years.

In addition to her husband, LeMayne, she is survived by her daughter; Keesha Averett, Martin, KY, one brother; Edward Boggs, East Point, KY, one sister; Wootsie Short, Paintsville, KY, two grandchildren; Nick Lawson, Scott Lawson, five great-grandchildren; Greyson Lawson, Makenzie Rees, Olivia Lawson, Kenneth Lazarus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Daniel Boggs, two sisters; Patsy Williams and Wanda Webb.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
