Peggy Sue Stephens

Peggy Sue Stephens, age 67, of Martin, KY, wife of William Earl Stephens, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. She was born April 03, 1955 in Martin, KY a daughter of the late Manis and Clara Adkins Risner. Peggy was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service.

She is survived by two sons; Samuel Scott (Carla) Stephens, McDowell, KY, Robert (Kim) Conley, Prestonsburg, KY, one daughter: Stephanie (Ricky) Thacker, Pikeville, KY,  two brothers; Clarence Risner, Winchester, KY, Manis Risner Jr., Martin, KY, one sister; Loretta Ousley, Martin, KY, ten grandchildren; Corey Conley, Cameron Stephens, Wyll Conley, Kylie Stephens, Jake Stephens, Jayden Conley, Braden Thacker, Isabella Thacker, Sierra Crawford, and Austin Crawford.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Shane Stephens, and one brother, Samuel Risner, and one sister Sianna Risner.

Funeral service for Peggy Sue Stephens will be conducted Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY. Burial will follow in the Risner-Bradley Cemetery, Martin, KY, with Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
