Pearl Jackson Potter, age 76, of Lackey, KY, widow of James Marlowe Potter, died Saturday, November 1, 2025 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born September 6, 1949 in Garrett, KY a daughter of the late Arlie Jackson Sr. and Ethel Lovins Jackson. Pearl was a retired Pharmacy Technician.
She is survived by one daughter, Becky (Larry) Smith, Onancock, VA, one step-daughter; Tonya (Jimmy) Pratt, Garrett, KY, three brothers; Arlie Jackson, Garrett, KY, Ernest (Jackie) Jackson, Banner, KY, Millard Jackson, West Liberty, KY, three sisters; Bonnie Warrens, Wayland, KY, Shirley (Bud) Kiser, Greenville, OH, Alma (Jack) Anderson, Wellington, KY, and three grandchildren; Haley(Tyler) Thacker, Charles Warren Potter and Adalyn Myrah Potter.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son, James Jeffrey Potter, two brothers; James Robert and Charles Edward Jackson, four sisters; Erma Lee Smith, Edna May Cassidy, Ruby Marshall, Aileen Collins, and one granddaughter; Cortney Danille Smith.
Funeral service for Pearl Jackson Potter will be conducted Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with James Michael Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery, Rock Fork-Garrett, KY. Visitation is from 6-9 PM Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home.
