Pauline (Patton) Layne

Pauline Patton Layne, age 94, of Martin, KY, wife of the late Jake Layne, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 in the Riverview Health Care, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born December 23, 1929 in Prater Fork, Hueysville, KY, a daughter of the late Miles Feelie & Pearlie Patton. She was retired from the US Postal Service

She is survived by two sons: John P. (Linda) Layne, Martin, KY, Bert R. (Gwen) Layne, Lexington, KY; two daughters: Kathy L. (Jack) Burchett, Pikeville, KY, Brenda J. Layne-Sharpe, Louisville, KY; one brother: Gary Patton; seven sisters: Cleffie Wooten, Martha Collins, Sally Bailey, Debbie Cecil, Barbara Goss, Patricia Price, Faye Baldridge; along with 13 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter: Glenda Kay Layne; one brother: Joe Ed Patton; and two sisters: Marie Hall and Patricia Davis

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service, under the directions of Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY
