Paul Edward Varney

Paul Edward Varney, age 66, of Prestonsburg, KY husband of the late Elizabeth Miller Varney, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. He was born February 19, 1956 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late William Varney and Velva Martin

He is survived by three sons: Paul Edward Varney Jr. of Gunlock, KY,  Marcus Eugene Varney, Wayland, KY, Matthew (Robin) Varney of Lackey, KY, and one daughter Jennifer Denise Varney of Prestonsburg, KY, one brother Elmer Blankenship of Floyd County, two sisters: Nova Ferrel of Florida, Rose Hill of Louisville, KY, and nine grandchildren: Jeremy Varney, Trent Marcus Varney, Trevor Varney, Ethan Varney, Emma Varney, Alyssa Meade, Payton Varney, Amber Mosley, and Grant Varney, and two great grandchildren: Dannie Varney and Easton Chase Collins.

Funeral service for Paul Edward Varney will be conducted Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Willie Crace officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 10:00 AM till time of service at Hall Funeral Home.
