Patricia Alice (Truman) Duff

Patricia Alice Truman Duff, age 82, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Birchell Duff, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY.  She was born November 20, 1940 in Dry Creek, KY, a daughter of the late Commodore and Laura Brown Truman.  She was a member of the Church of Christ, a retired nurse and a former referee.

She is survived by two daughters; Sandy Duff, Prestonsburg, KY and Shelia Duff Allen, Nicholasville, KY, one son; Birchell Todd (Twilia) Duff, Bowling Green, KY, four grandchildren; James Corey (Sarah) Allen, Lauren (Seth) Jarrell, Caitlin Allen and Jake Birchell Patrick Duff, two step grandchildren; Jordan (Jessica) Charles and Hollie (Ben) Charles, two great grandchildren; Caroline Everly Jarrell and Jonah James Allen, two step great grandchildren; J. T. & Jenna Charles, one great grandchild on the way; Camila Ryan Jarrell, special friend; Margie Gearheart.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Sylvester Lee Truman and Commodore Lewis Truman, six sisters; Alma Jones, Thelma Rice, Velma Bentley, Virginia Carter, Betty Jo Parsons and Annette King, one son-in-law: James Dotson Allen; one step grandson; Jim Doug Charles.

Funeral service will be conduced Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Duff Cemetery, Hueysville, KY, visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
