Palestine (Martin) Smith

Palestine Martin Smith, age 80, of Dema, KY, wife of the late Randall Smith, passed away at her residence April 28,2026. She was born July 16, 1945 to the late Murph and Herma Hall Martin.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters; Vanessa Lynn Smith, Clay City, KY, Alison Leigh Smith, Ivel, KY, one sister; Linda Combs, Louisa, KY, four fur grandbabies; Annie, Alvin Alexander, Abbie Simone, Asher Theodore.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four sisters; Shirlene Martin, Emily Allen, Mavis Joy Hall, Willa Fay Collins, two brothers; Franklin David "Pop" Martin, William Alger "Junebug" Martin.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 01, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitt Martin Cemetery, Dema, KY, visitation is from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
