Opal Mae (Branham) Fannin

Opal Mae Fannin, age 93, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Raymond Fannin, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born January 8, 1930 in Dwale, KY, a daughter of the late John P. and Lura Fraley "Peg" Branham.  She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church and retired from American Standard.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother; Thomas Branham, one sister; Barbara Howard and one half sister; Ruby Fraley.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Aiken officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
