Ola Ann (Jones) Ellis

Ola Ann Jones Ellis, age 61, of Wayland, KY, wife of John Ellis, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born October 28, 1959 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Ola and Davane Collins Jones. She was a nurse aide and member of the Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son: Johnathon (Keisha) Ellis, Banner, KY, one daughter; Racheal Ellis, Wayland, KY, four brothers; Larry, Ola Jones, Jr., Jimmy and Ernie Jones, five sisters; Judy Sampson, Tessie Webb, Mary McKinney, Wanda Vantu and Sharon Moore, seven grandchildren; Zach, Timothy, Dylan, Destiny, Cassie, Kassie and Braden and one great grandchild; Rosalie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Bill Jones, two sisters; Cordy Gilmer and Sally Hotelling.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 10 at 3:00 pm at the Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Estill, KY.
