Norma Jean (Hall) Mckinney

Norma Jean McKinney, age 76, Harold, KY, widow of James B. "Brud" McKinney, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born March 25, 1945 in Knott County, KY, a daughter of the late Willie "Bill" and Lillian Conn Hall.  She was a member of the Mother's Home Old Regular Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by one son: Cheyenne (Connie) McKinney, three daughters; Joycie (Jack) Shell, Monica (Don) Akers and Cathy (Tommy) Baldridge, three brothers; Charles Hall, James Paul Hall and Earl Hall, seven sisters; Lydia Conn, Betty Stevens, Phyllis Akers, Virgie Gmerek, Flossee Weinbrandt, Avanell Wedgeworth and Margaret Haynie, ten grandchildren; Alicia, Adam, Jacki, Whitney, Andrew, Courtney, Nick, Austin, Brandie and Johnna and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three brothers: Raymond Conn, Bill Hall, Jr. and Eric Hightower.

Graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Hunt Cemetery, Cam Branch, Harold, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation is after 6 PM Saturday, September 11 at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
