Norma Jean (Campbell) Centers

Norma Jean Campbell Centers, age 78 of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of James Melvin Centers, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Riverview Healthcare Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born June 21, 1942 in Prestonsburg, KY, a daughter of the late Alton and Georgia McGuire Campbell. She was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church, Irene Cole Memorial.

She is survived by one daughter: Rita Carol Fleenor, Prestonsburg, two nieces; Rhonda (Richard) Staley, Nicholasville, KY, Kimberly (Tim) Hamm, Elizabethtown, KY, one great niece; Tina (Marty) Anderson, Nicholasville, KY, one grandson; Craig (Tabitha) Fleenor, two great grandchildren; Katelyn and Rylee Fleenor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Novaline Patricia "Pat" Stratton.

Funeral service for Mrs. Centers will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 18 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery, Prestonsburg. Visitation is Tuesday after 6 PM at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY. The family requests that donations be made to the Floyd County Animal Shelter in her honor in lieu of flowers.
