Noah “Bug” Vance Jr., age 80, of Beaver, KY, husband of the late Tennie Harmon Vance, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Hazard ARH, Hazard, KY. He was born October 1, 1941 in Beaver, KY, the son of the late Noah and Lucresie Reynolds Vance. He was a retired coal miner, a member of the NRA, the UMWA Wheelwright Local and was an active board member of the Mud Creek Clinic.
He is survived by three sons; Noah Michael (Mitzy) Vance and Brian Allen (Kenessha) Vance, all of Beaver, Jeffrey Scott (Glisa) Vance, Bypro, KY, two sisters; Fayetta Poenisch, Grove City, OH, Bertha Hall, Grethel, KY, seven grandchildren; Heather, Eric, Jordan, Haley, Kionna, Shane and Leland, eight great grandchildren; Kaden, Miley, Rylee, Eric James, Ryder, Reign, Otis and Kenleigh, one nephew; Barry Hall.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Josh Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Vance Family Cemetery, Beaver, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
