Nadine (Hammonds) Lykins

  Nadine Hammonds Lykins, age 82. of Burlington, KY, formerly of Floyd County, wife of Hoy Lykins, died Thursday, March 28, 2024 at her residence. She was born August 29, 1941 in Prestonsburg, KY a daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Prater Hammonds. Nadine was a former Avon Products employee.  She enjoyed reading, doing word searches and crocheting.
  

 She is survived by two sons, Frank (Carol Finnie)Lykins Sr., Batavia, OH, John (Susan) Lykins, Florence, KY, one daughter; Sarah (James) Dunham, Florence, KY, seven grandchildren; Frank A. Lykins Jr., Nicholas A. Lykins, Elizabeth Bridges, John Daniel Lykins, Jessica Nadine Dunham, Taylor Warnke, James Dunham Jr., and 15 great grandchildren.
   

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, O T Hammonds, Harold Hammonds, and one sister; Charlene Hamilton.
  

 Funeral service for Nadine Hammonds Lykins will be conducted Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 2 PM in the Hall Funeral Home with David Bowling & Johnathan Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY. Visitation is from 12 noon Sunday until the time of service, 2 PM at Hall Funeral Home.
