Myra Martin Henry

Myra Martin Henry, age 62, of Minnie, KY, wife of Kevin S. Henry, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at her residence.  She was born September 12, 1963 to the late Melvin Byron "Nick" and Josephine Slone Martin.  She was a member of the Garret First Baptist Church and a member of the 'The Wings of Praise" Gospel Group.  Myra was a retired deputy clerk from the Floyd County Court Clerks Office.

In addition to her husband, Kevin, she is survived by her daughter; Lauren (Lucas) Salyer, Elkhorn City, KY, two children in love; Dakota and Connor, Perry Co., KY, two brothers; Dr. Kenneth Ray (Sandra Carol) Martin, Murfreesboro, TN and Denzil Byron (Beverly) Martin, Dwale, KY, two sisters; Jennifer Lou (Rondal Lee) Patton, Hueysville, KY and Connie Jo (Silas) Martin, Littcarr, KY, two grandchildren; Caroline Elizabeth and Brady Allen Salyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Blaine DePoy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. 

Visitation is from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a service at Saturday at  7 p.m., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
