Mose Bentley

Mose Bentley, age 71, of Beaver, KY, husband of Ethel Newsome Bentley, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence.  He was born February 9, 1950 in Beaver, KY a son of the late Andy J. and Jettie Mitchell Bentley.  He was the Moderator of the Mother's Home Old Regular Baptist Church, he worked as a coal miner and retired from General Motors as an Assembly Line Worker.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel, one son; William Tracy Bentley, two grandchildren; Cody (Faylin) Bentley and Shrain Bugno, six great grandchildren; Ace Mose Bentley, Braxton Lee Bentley, Landon Grey Bentley Wilson, Mazziah King Jefferson, Makkiah Chyann Jefferson and Elijah Amerr Bugno.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Joe Bentley, Andy Bentley, Jr., Erving Bentley, Troy Bentley, Orville Bentley, Ermal Bentley, Willie Bentley, Charlie Bentley and Ornell "Jamup" Bentley, sisters; Littie Bentley, Opal Reynolds, Artie Bentley, Bessie Dillowe, Ruby Atkins and Marie Osborne.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery, Beaver, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, with service each evening at 7 p.m., under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
