Mitzi Lynn Hughes

Mitzi Lynn Hughes, age 63 of East Point, KY, wife of Donald L.Hughes, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 in Prestonsburg. She was born April 06, 1958 in McDowell KY, a daughter of the late Lester and Beatrice Mitchell, Mitzi was a medical billing manager, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Fitzpatrick First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mitzi is survived by one daughter; Bethany Lauren (Joshua) Thornsberry of East Point KY, two brothers Neil J. (Linda) Mitchell of Ligon, KY and Kenny Joe Mitchell of Ligon, KY, Sister at heart Ronda Mitchell, six grandchildren Isaiah, Jaelyn, Jayda, Jace, Oakley, and Brinlee.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday November 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Reid officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Hughes Family Cemetery, East Point KY.  Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
