Maudie (Coleman) Hill

Maudie Coleman Hill, age 89, of Jacksboro, TN, formerly of Floyd County, widow of Roy Hill, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1931 in Honaker, KY, a daughter of the late Estill and Oma Martin Coleman Lawson. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons: Jeremy (Casey) Hill, Jacksboro, TN and Roy  (Carolyn) Hill, Betsy Layne, KY, two daughters; Joetta Evans and Cheryl Nelson both of LaFollette, TN, one brother; Emmett (Velma) Lawson, Harold, KY, one sister; Coyette Lawson, Honaker, KY, one sister in law; Nolie Colley, nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter; Lynette Thomas, two brothers; Okie "Burr" Lawson and Roy Lawson, three sisters; Elizabeth Yates, Shelia Lawson and Reba Lawson.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hill will be conducted on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 3 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Honaker, KY. Visitation will be 12 noon to 3 PM prior to funeral service.
