Obituary
Mary Sue Moore, age 92, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Gordon "Red" Moore, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the Highlands ARH Hospital, Prestonsburg. She was born July 1, 1931 in Martin, KY a daughter of the late Cullen and Maude Osborne Smith. Mary was a former Teller/Clerk at the original First Guaranty Bank, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Prestonsburg, and their sewing club, a member of the Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild and the Floyd County Homemakers Club.
She is survived by one son, Alan (Gina) Moore, East Point, KY, and one grandson; Benjamin Andrew Moore.
Funeral service for Mary Sue Moore will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, with Leslie Robinette officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery, Prestonsburg. Visitation is from 1 PM until 9 PM Friday at Hall Funeral Home.
