Mary N. (Spurlock) Lawson

Mary N. Lawson, age 80 of Harold, KY, widow of Roy Lawson, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  She was born January 6, 1946 in Honaker, KY, a daughter of the late Cas and Verlie Salisbury Spurlock.  She was a member of the Harold Church of Christ and worked in retail.

She is survived by three daughters; Jill (Jamie) Hunt, Harold, KY, Leca (John) Smallwood, Pikeville, KY and Amanda (Jeremy ) Blackburn, Paintsville, KY, one brother; Bill (Joan) Spurlock, Dana, KY, five sisters; Ruby Patton and Peggy Hall, both of New London, OH, Marcella Price, Harold, KY, Betsy Newman, Grethel, KY and Kathleen Crum, Martin, KY, seven grandchildren; Rachel (Jordan) Taylor, John David Smallwood, Joshua Smallwood, Marissa (Greg) Coleman, Casey Deaton, Grace Blackburn and Lucas Blackburn, four great grandchildren; John Bryson, Kinsley, Brinley and Raeleigh.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Bobby Spurlock, Sherrill Spurlock and Leonard Spurlock, two sisters; Irene Conn and Garnett Weddington.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Charley Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday with a church service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
