Marlene (Smith) Stumbo

Marlene Smith Stumbo, age 86, of Ivel, KY, widow of "Ted" Stumbo  passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1933 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Estill and Stella Osborne Smith. She was a beautician and owner of Stumbo Beauty Shop and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son: Keith (Karen) Stumbo, Harold, KY, two daughters; Mary Ellen Stumbo, Lexington, KY and Suzanne Stumbo, Ivel, KY, two brothers; Estill "Buddy" Smith, Paintsville, KY and James Rederick, Martin, KY, two grandchildren; Kaitlyn (Jonathan) Tate, Mikayla Stumbo and special friend; like a son, Lonnie Ray Allen, Stanville, KY.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald P. and Wayne "Sonny" Smith.

Funeral service for Mrs. Stumbo will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 20 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Clayton Case officiating. Burial will follow the Davidson Memorial Cemetery, Ivel, KY. Visitation is 6-9 PM Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
